Commodore fans are invited to Vanderbilt Stadium to watch game two of the College World Series matchup between Vanderbilt and Virginia on Tuesday, June 24.
First pitch for the game is scheduled for 7 p.m. and gates to Vanderbilt Stadium will open at 6 p.m. Fans are invited to bring a blanket and watch from the field or seating will be available in the stadium bleachers. Free parking is available in the Medical Center lots located at the corner of Jess Neely Drive and Natchez Trace. In the event of inclement weather, the stadium will be closed and the event will be canceled.
Should the series advance to a third game, Vanderbilt will again host a viewing party at the football stadium on Wednesday.
This is the first time in school history that the Commodores have advanced to the finals at the College World Series and it is the program's second trip to Omaha in its history, the first coming in 2011. Vanderbilt will be battling for the first men's team national championship in school history.
