Nashville, Tenn. - Four Commodores have been named All-SEC by the league coaches with Vince Conde, Dansby Swanson, Carson Fulmer and Bryan Reynolds garnering recognition.

Conde and Swanson were named to the All-SEC first team after producing two of the best seasons in the nation by middle infielders. The two are the only two Commodores to start all 59 games this season and combined to hit .322 with 83 runs scored, 40 extra-base hits and 73 RBI while making just 10 errors. Swanson heads into the NCAA Tournament leading the Commodores in multiple offensive categories with a .336 batting average, 47 runs scored, 21 doubles and 17 stolen bases. Conde has been a steady force for the Dores driving in 43 runs and hitting .306 heading into the Nashville Regional this weekend. The junior has made just four errors in 223 chances (.982 fielding percentage) and was named a mid-season All-American by Baseball America.

Carson Fulmer was tabbed a second team All-SEC performer for his outstanding season. Fulmer spent the majority of the season as the Commodores' closer before transitioning to the squad's starting rotation during SEC play. The right-hander leads the Dores with 10 saves and a 1.31 ERA but his work in the starting rotation helped the Commodores to a strong finish in league play. Vanderbilt went 5-0 in his five starts down the stretch with the sophomore not allowing a run in his four first starts, eventually compiling 29.2 scoreless innings. His complete game shutout at Florida was the only shutout of the season by a Vandy pitcher. The Lakeland, Fla. native was also named to the All-Defensive team.

Reynolds earned his way onto the All-SEC Freshman team after posting a giant freshman campaign. Reynolds played in all 59 games for the Commodores during the season and was one of the team's best offensive players hitting .323, matching Swanson for the team lead with 21 doubles and leading the team with 44 RBI. The Brentwood, Tenn. native's 21 doubles are the most ever by a freshman at Vanderbilt. His 21 multi-hit games lead the Dores and his four home runs are second on the team.

The Commodores have now had at least one player on the All-SEC first team in nine straight seasons with multiple players earning first team honors in five of those nine seasons.

Vanderbilt opens NCAA Tournament play in the Nashville Regional against Xavier on Friday night at 7 p.m. at Hawkins Field.
