Vanderbilt split the final week of the regular season with a win against SEMO on Tuesday and dropping two-of-three to No. 17 South Carolina... The Commodores opened the week with a 10-4 win over SEMO as the VU offense scored six runs in the fifth inning to put the game away... Dansby Swanson, Bryan Reynolds and Ro Coleman all had two-hit games with Coleman driving in a career-high three runs... Walker Buehler won his team-best ninth game allowing one run on four hits over five innings... The Dores let a late lead slip away on Thursday night vs. South Carolina losing 4-3 in 10 innings... Zander Wiel scored two runs and Vince Conde knocked in two in the loss... Brian Miller was pegged with the loss allowing an inherited runner to score in the ninth and a home run in the 10th... Starter Tyler Beede tossed a career-high 8.1 innings allowing three runs with six strikeouts... Vandy bounced back to even the series on Friday night with a 9-3 win... Carson Fulmer remained perfect as a starter despite walking a career-high six and allowing his first runs as a starter, the right-hander gave up three runs on seven hits over 5.2 innings... His scoreless streak came to an end at 29.2 innings... Hayden Stone picked up the save working 3.1 scoreless innings... Zander Wiel belted a two-run homer and drove in three runs with Rhett Wiseman matching his career-best with three hits... The Gamecocks rallied late again to down the Dores on Saturday afternoon in the regular season finale 6-3... Adam Ravenelle took the loss out of the bullpen allowing three runs, one earned, on three walks and one hit over two-plus innings... Dansby Swanson and Zander Wiel led the offense with two hits apiece... Vanderbilt enters the postseason in the Southeastern Conference Tournament as the sixth seed against 11th seed Tennessee on Tuesday morning at 9:30 a.m. in a single elimination game.
