Vanderbilt is the new consensus No. 1 team in the nation, topping all five polls.

The Commodores (45-6, 24-2) are the top team in the Baseball America, Perfect Game, USA Today Coaches', Collegiate Baseball and NCBWA polls. The ascension to the top spot in all five polls marks the first time since the 2007 season Vanderbilt has been the top team in every poll and the first time since 2011 the Commodores have held the top spot in at least three of the polls.

The last time a Vanderbilt team was ranked No. 1 in the Baseball America or Coaches' polls was April 12, 2011. The Commodores were the top team in at least one poll for five weeks of the 2011 season that ended in the school's first-ever trip to the College World Series. Vanderbilt's 2007 team was the top ranked team in the nation for 14 weeks of the season, including the last nine weeks of the regular season.

The Commodores return home to finish the regular season with four games at Hawkins Field this week. The Dores host crosstown rival Belmont Tuesday night before welcoming Alabama for a three-game series starting Thursday night at 6:30 p.m.
