• Wrapped up his week with two more steals on Sunday and two more runs scored in series sweep of Monmouth.

• Earned his first career win in his first career start at Belmont on Tuesday tossing 6.2 innings and allowing one run on four hits.
• Punched out a career-best 10 batters in win at Belmont to become the first Commodores' pitcher since 2011 to record at least 10 strikeouts, striking out at least one batter in every inning.
• Started his second career game and earned his second win in five days with six innings of work against Monmouth on Sunday.
• Did not allow a hit in his final four innings and retired 14 of the final 15 batters he faced to help the Commodores complete a series sweep of Monmouth.

• Weekly totals: 5G/4GS, 16AB, 3R, 6H, 2B, 3RBI
• Singled three times in win at Belmont for a career-high three hits.
• Drove in two runs with a double in win over Central Arkansas.
• Added singles on Friday and Saturday to push his hitting streak to the first seven games of his career, coming off the bench to extend his hitting streak on Saturday.

Commodore Notes
Vanderbilt posted a perfect 5-0 week with midweek wins over Belmont and Central Arkansas before a sweep of Monmouth over the weekend... The Commodores topped crosstown rival Belmont 9-3 on Tuesday behind the strong start of Philip Pfeifer... The left-hander struck out a career-best 10 batters in 6.2 innings to become the first Commodore since Taylor Hill in 2011 to fan at least 10 hitters... Tony Kemp went a perfect 5-for-5 with a pair of doubles for his second career five-hit game and the Dores' first since he had five hits in 2011 at South Carolina... VU handled Central Arkansas with a 10-2 victory on Wednesday... Steven Rice earned the win out of the bullpen with three scoreless innings of relief striking out three... Conrad Gregor led the way with two hits, two runs and two RBI... The Dore took the series opener against Monmouth 5-1 on Friday night behind the stellar start of Kevin Ziomek... The junior struck out a career-best 11 batters en route to his second win of the year... Tyler Beede continued the Commodores' pitching dominance in Saturday's 11-1 win over Monmouth... Beede struck out the first six batters of the game on his way to a career-high nine strikeouts allowing one run on two hits over seven innings... Jack Lupo went 3-for-4 with three runs scored a career-best four stolen bases while Chris Harvey added a double and triple while scoring three runs... Vandy finished off its first series sweep of the season on Sunday with a 13-1 victory... Philip Pfeifer earned his second win in five days with six solid innings... Tony Kemp scored four runs and freshman Kyle Smith came off the bench to drive in four runs with a double and three-run triple... Vanderbilt outscored its three opponents by a combined 48-8 in the five-game stretch while swiping 24 bases in 28 attempts... The Dores' pitching struck out 57 batters in 45 innings with the team's starters striking out 42 in 30.2 innings... For the season Vanderbilt is outscoring opponents 79-27 (9.9/game to 3.4) and have already have 31 stolen bases (3.9/game)... Vanderbilt's pitching staff has recorded 77 strikeouts in 71 innings.
