•Ryan Flaherty ended the season with a 35 game hitting streak; 2nd longest streak in SEC  history (1 behind Andy Phillips); ends the season with 104 hits (3rd most hits in a season in school history)

•Pedro Alvarez hit his 40th career home run; ends the season with 105 hits (2nd most in school history)

•David Price had his first loss of the season (11-1); recorded his 194 strikeout of the year (school record); gave up  his third homerun of the season (2 in the regionals); first relief appearance of the season

•5th national seed to be eliminated

•Mike Minor made his first appearance out of the bullpen since March 24th at Arkansas

•Finish the season with more strikeouts then innings pitched

•Finish the season with the best record in school history

•Finish the season 6-3 in extra inning games

•Last time both SEC regular season divsion winners failed to advance to the Super Regional was in 1999 (SEC East winner South Carolina didn't make the tournament; SEC West winner Arkansas lost in the Regionals)

•Michael Powers recorded his 4th save; he finished the regional with a win against Vanderbilt (6/2/07) and a save against Vanderbilt (6/4/07); made his 28th appearance (3rd most by a Michigan player in school history); recorded his 4th save of the season
