    • Sunday’s meeting was the fifth time LSU and Vanderbilt have met in the SEC Tournament. LSU is now 5-1 against VU in the SEC Tournament. Vanderbilt defeated LSU 4-1 in the first round Wednesday.

    • Vanderbilt is now 30-23 in 14 appearances at the SEC Tournament.

    • Vanderbilt has played in four SEC Tournament championship games since 2004, the most of any team in the SEC during that span.

    • Vanderbilt made its fourth trip to the SEC Tournament Championship game in the last six seasons. VU has made six SEC Tournament Championship games in the programs history.

    • With eighth-seeded Vanderbilt advancing to the SEC Tournamet final, it marked the second consecutive season that the No. 8 seed advanced to the finals of the SEC Tournament (Ole Miss, 2008)

    • Vanderbilt is 2-5 in championship games.

    • Vanderbilt has won six of the last eight meetings with LSU dating back to the 2006 season.

    Steven Liddle fourth-inning home run was his first home run since May 2 against South Carolina. Liddle’s home run leads the Commodores in home runs this season with 10. Liddle’s home run was his first career postseason home run. With two hits Sunday, Liddle registered his 26 multiple hit games this season. In four games at the SEC Tournament, Liddle recorded three multi-hit games.

    • Vanderbilt’s Steven Liddle and Andrew Giobbi finished the SEC Tournament hitting over .500 for the tournament. Giobbi finished the week 8-for-15 (.533) with a pair of home runs and four RBI while Liddle was 7-for-14 (.500) with a home run.

    Curt Casali solo home run in the seventh inning was his second of the SEC Tournament and 10th of the season. Casali is tied with Liddle for the team lead with 10.

    • Vanderbilt hit two more home runs Sunday, giving them an SEC Tournament high six home runs for the week. VU came into the Tournament with an SEC low 44 home runs.

    • Vanderbilt’s Grayson Garvin made his first career appearance in the SEC Tournament.

    • Vanderbilt is now 17-9 in the SEC Tournament under head coach Tim Corbin. This marks the sixth SEC Tournament in the last seven years for Vanderbilt (all coming under Corbin).

    Jonathan White extended his hitting streak to eight games with a single in the eighth inning.

    • Vanderbilt is now 4-3 this season against teams ranked in the top-five.

    • It marked the fourth time in the last six year’s that Vanderbilt has won at least three games in the SEC Tournament.
