General Information All patrons are required to check in at the front desk before playing, whether you are playing outdoors or indoors.
Court reservations are strongly encouraged, and may be made up to 48 hours in advance.
All shoes must be a tennis court-type or white-soled shoe. NO running shoes or black-soled shoes allowed. The Tennis Center offers tennis shoes for players to borrow on a complimentary basis if they do not own non-marking shoes.
Only water is permitted on the indoor courts.
Locker rooms are available for public use.
Court Fees (Valid starting Oct. 1, 2009) Membership with the Currey Tennis Center is required for use of all courts. Members are welcome to bring guests along to play with them.
Indoor Member: $20/hour Student: $10/hour Guest: $5 plus applicable court fee (must play with member)
Outdoor Guest: $5 (must play with member) Outdoor courts are FREE to all members and Vanderbilt students
Membership
The tennis center membership year runs from October 1 - September 30. Membership with the Currey Tennis Center is required for use of all courts. Members are welcome to bring guests along to play with them. Membership categories and prices are as follows. Prices are pro-rated on a quarterly basis when necessary.
Alumni: $99 (Any Vanderbilt graduate)
Alumni Family: $149 (Any Vanderbilt graduate, spouse and all children under age 18)
Faculty/Staff: $75 (Full-time Vanderbilt employee; photocopy of current VU ID required with membership application.)
Faculty/Staff Family: $115 (Full-time Vanderbilt employee, his or her spouse, and all children under age 18; photocopy of current VU ID required with membership application.)
Regular: $139 (Anyone who is not an alum of Vanderbilt or a full-time member of Vanderbilt's faculty/staff)
Regular Family: $199 (Anyone who is not an alum of Vanderbilt or a full-time faculty/staff member, his or her spouse, and all children under age 18)
"GOLD" Membership: $1000 (This special membership level grants patrons "unlimited" use of the tennis courts [outside of contract time] throughout the membership year. No court fees are required. For more information, contact the Tennis Center at 322-6068.)

Contract Court Time
Contract Court Time allows patrons to reserve indoor court time (specific court, day and time) during the winter season. The 2011-12 contract season begins Oct 3 and runs through April 8, and is sold in two sessions. Session I runs Oct 3-Dec. 18, and Session II runs Jan. 9-April 8. Courts must be contracted separately for each session. Membership with the Currey Tennis Center is required to contract indoor court time.
The contract rate is based on a reduced court fee of $16/hour, which is a significant discount from the normal court fee of $20/hour. League Rental Rates Information on league rental rates, click here
