Joe Fisher, Voice of the Commodores Joe Fisher, Voice of the Commodores, provides concise and insightful coverage on the Vanderbilt Radio Network. A Nashville native, Fisher enters his 15th season as the team's football play-by-play announcer. He handles similar duties for Vanderbilt men's basketball and baseball. Prior to announcing Vanderbilt games, Fisher was a television sports anchor in the Nashville market from 1987-96, with stints at WSMV-4 and WKRN-2. He also worked two years in public relations. Fisher also serves as Vanderbilt athletics' Director of Broadcasting.

In-Stadium Home Radio Frequency Fans in attendance at Vanderbilt's football and men's basketball home games may listen to the games without delay on 92.5 FM. The low-powered signal is only attainable in the venue and is available just for Vanderbilt's home games. The games will also be available on 1510 AM, but with a delay due to FCC rules.
