The Commodores were in the community on Thursday as Vanderbilt Vice Chancellor/AD David Williams accepted a check on behalf of the Nashville Public Education Foundation from the Nashville Predators. Williams also serves as the Chair of the NPEF. The Predators' Stanley Cup playoff run impacted the local economy an estimated $50 million with each Stanley Cup Finals game accounting for $8 million per game. The Predators gave $50,000 to the NPEF to help with early childhood development and enrollment for kindergarten.
