Graduation took place on May 11, and Vanderbilt's photography department was out in full force to capture the memorable day for all those involved. After sorting through a host of images, VUCommodores.com collected a number of photos featuring Vanderbilt's student-athletes and placed them in a photo gallery.
Additionally, because a number of teams were on the road competing during Vanderbilt's Commencement, university administration once again held a special graduation ceremony for those student-athletes on Tuesday, May 15. Those participating in the alternate graduation ceremony were members of the baseball team, men's and women's tennis teams, the women's golf team and the track team.
