Check out the latest buzz surrounding the Vanderbilt Commodores: This week Vanderbilt athletics embarked on a service trip to Jamaica in partnership with Soles4Souls. The student-athletes visited local schools and delivered shoes and other items to children. The group has been blogging about their experience all week. Intercollegiate Tennis Association: The ITA honored five members of the Vanderbilt women's tennis team with its Regional Awards this week. Among them, head coach Geoff Macdonald and associate head coach Aleke Tsoubanos earned Ohio Valley Coach of the Year and Assistant Coach of the Year. Read here.

NCAA: Vanderbilt men's golf advanced to the NCAA Championship for a program-record fourth consecutive season on Wednesday, when the Dores finished tied for second at the NCAA College Grove Regional. Read here

Writes Sparks: "This is the same Emma Kurtz who’s playing the best tennis of her life for the Commodores, who face California in the NCAA Sweet Sixteen on Friday, a week before she was supposed to graduate from high school." Read here. In the NCAA's latest national APR scores, Vanderbilt football, men’s golf, women’s golf, men’s tennis and women’s tennis led the SEC in APR, while bowling and lacrosse finished atop the Southland Conference and BIG EAST Conference, respectively.
