How did you end up at Vanderbilt?
I did a summer internship with the Nashville Sounds during college and loved the city, so I moved back when graduated and started as an intern in Vandy's marketing department.
Favorite meal to make?
Breakfast on the weekends. Weekday mornings are busy rushing to get the kids out the door, so weekend breakfast time is the best!
Best part about your job?
Interacting with the student-athletes and providing them with opportunities to be successful, academically and personally.
Do you have pets?
Jax, a Lab/Great Dane mix. He's huge, but he grew up with a Yorkie so he thinks he's a lap dog.
What is on your DVR?
When it is on, Revenge, but for now it's mostly Dora the Explorer and Sesame Street.
Last movie you watched?
I took my daughter to see Frozen, her first movie in a movie theater. Big mistake, because now we listen to "Let It Go" at least five times in the car on the way to school every day!
If you weren't in sports, what would you be doing?
Non-profit work probably. I enjoy making a difference and am so fortunate that I currently have the opportunity to do so in the lives of the student-athletes and outreach efforts we do with the community.
Best part of living in Nashville?
Live music anytime, anyplace
"Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory."
- Dr. Seuss
Most memorable Vanderbilt sporting event?
I have two: Friday nights when David Price pitched back when I worked baseball games for marketing. The atmosphere was always electric! The second is the men's basketball game I met my husband at. ... I think that was a pretty memorable event!
