Recreation Center Bowling Lanes

Vanderbilt's sparkling on-campus bowling center was opened in January, 2014, giving its bowling program a quality and very convenient practice facility

The facility is housed in Vanderbilt's Recreation Center, approximately 150 yards from the McGugin Center where student-athletes have their training, academic and dining centers. The short walk to practice allows the bowlers to be very efficient with their time management and also allows for NCAA approved one-on-one sessions to be scheduled easily for both player and coach.

The facility features four top of the line Brunswick lanes and equipment. It is also wired in a similar fashion as the USBC's International Training and Research Center to allow for future video teaching and training.

Bowlers are assigned individual lockers. Atop the wooden locker doors are insets to showcase the school's many NCAA trophies. Additionally, the program's NCAA championship trophy is spotlighted in an enclosed case at the entry to the facility.

The facility is reserved for varsity bowling practice and lane maintainence for certain parts of the day and open to the campus community during evening hours.
