    Founded in 1992, Legends Club of Tennessee is a 36-hole golf club located in Franklin, just 17 miles south of downtown Nashville. Legends Club was designed by Bob Cupp, one of the world's foremost golf course architects, and Tom Kite, current Senior PGA Tour player and 1992 U. S. Open champion. The Ironhorse Course is a 7,200 yard par-72 golf course and the Roper's Knob course plays 7,100 yards and par is 71.

    Legends Club is proud to have hosted many important championships in its short history, including the LPGA's Electrolux USA Championship hosted by Vince Gill and Amy Grant. The club is also host to Vanderbilt's annual Mason Rudolph Men's and Women's Championships held every fall. Among the other championships hosted by Legends Club are the following:
    • Tennessee State Open, 1993-1996
    • Tennessee Challenge Cup Matches, 1993-2000
    • The Southeastern Conference Women's Golf Championship, 1995
    • PGA's National Golf Day hosted by Tom Kite, 1993
    • The Tennessee State Open Pro-Am, 1993-1996, 1999-2000
    • US Women's Open Qualifier, 1999
    • NCAA Women's Golf Championships, 2012
    • Men's and Women's Mason Rudolph Championships (held every fall)
    In addition, Legends Club served as the host site for its first U.S. national championship, the USGA Girls' Junior Championship, in 1997. The LPGA Tour played its first Electrolux Classic here in May, 2000, attracting huge gallaries and a national television audience.

    Among the many awards it has received, Legends Club is very proud to have been selected as having one of the top 100 golf shops in the U.S. for 1999 and 2000. Since its founding, Legends Club has been voted by the readers of the Nashville Scene as having the best golf courses in the Nashville area.

    Legends Club is truly a golfer's club. Of its 520 members, over 200 boast a handicap of 10 or under. Two members qualified for the U.S. Amateur in 2000. Patrick Jackson serves as Director of Golf and Bo Casey and Ted Gallina are the head professionals.

    The Club also has one of the largest practice areas in the country. Its 21-acre facility serves as the home of the Legends Golf Academy. Its lead instructor,Nancy Quarcelino, was named as one of the best teachers in America in the August 2000 issue of Golf Digest, and as one of the top 50 teachers in America by Golf for Women Magazine in its March 2000 issue. In addition to offering over 100 hitting stations on its double-ended practice range, the practice facility has an extensive short-game practice area and two indoor hitting bays for use during inclement weather.
