David Williams announces staff changes

Vanderbilt Athletics Director David Williams has announced some changes to the organization of the Athletic Department.

The changes include the creation of the following new positions within the department’s structure: Senior Associate Athletics Director and Assistant Athletics Director.

Williams announced that Candice Lee, Vanderbilt’s Senior Woman Administrator, Associate Athletic Director and Director of Compliance, has been named Senior Associate AD for Internal Affairs. Steve Walsh, Associate Athletic Director for Sales and Marketing has been tabbed Senior Associate AD for External Affairs.

Additionally, six individuals from within the department have been appointed Assistant Athletic Directors.

Allison Frazee has been named Assistant AD for Marketing. Head Athletic Trainer Tom Bossung is now the Assistant AD for Sports Medicine. Gina Owens is the Assistant AD for Business Services. Steven Parks has been named Assistant AD for Video Services and Anchor Down Productions. Ryan Schulz is the Assistant AD for Communications and Elizabeth Wright is now the Assistant AD for Student Services.

“As the landscape of college athletics changes and we move to the status of autonomy and embrace our new SEC Network,” Williams said, “these organizational changes are important if we are to continue to build on our success.”
